Trinity Offshore was established in 2008, as a sister company to Trinity Yachts, using the same facilities and workforce. In 2012, it changed its name to TY Offshore and in 2013 to Gulf Coast Shipyard Group. Then in 2015 it was sold to Harvey Gulf International Marine, who renamed it Harvey Shipyard Group.
